Meet The Team

Cale Decker, PLS
CEO and President
Cale Decker is the CEO & President of Decker Land Surveying, P.C., which he founded in 2016. With over 30 years in the surveying industry, he has worked on everything from large commercial developments to small residential surveys. His career began in 1992 at Myers and Associates, P.C. in Canastota, NY, where he spent more than two decades before starting DLS. Cale is a licensed land surveyor in the State of New York and takes great pride in the industry, viewing his work as more than just a career—it’s a passion. As a member of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS), he stays connected with other professionals and remains involved in the growth and future of the industry. A Vernon Center native, he now lives in Vernon with his wife, Lisa, and their dog, Leo. His daughter, Haley, lives in Albany, NY, and his son, Caleb, is a student and Division I golfer at St. Bonaventure University. When he’s not working, Cale enjoys hunting, golfing, and cruising around in his 1984 Chevrolet C10.

Caleb Decker
Business Development Manager
Caleb Decker is the Business Development Manager at Decker Land Surveying, P.C., working alongside his father, Cale. His responsibilities include sales, marketing, client relations, and business growth, while also assisting in the field with surveying projects. Caleb is pursuing a Business Management degree at St. Bonaventure University, where he also plays Division I golf for the St. Bonaventure Bonnies. He is also enrolled in the Surveying Engineering Technology program at the University of Maine to further his expertise in the field. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing. He has a strong interest in land surveying and is eager to learn more while helping grow the business.

Keegan Bauer
Survey Technician
Keegan Bauer is a Survey Technician at Decker Land Surveying, P.C. He first joined the company as an intern in 2020 before earning his Associate’s Degree in Land Surveying Technology from the SUNY ESF Ranger School. Now a full-time team member, he plays a key role in daily operations and is actively working toward his professional surveying license. A Verona native, Keegan is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors drives his passion for land surveying.
